Frequently Asked Questions
For Consultants
Getting Started
What is the purpose of the platform?
The online platform connects companies seeking investor roadshow support with experienced consultants. It provides a secure marketplace where companies can identify, evaluate and engage consultants based on their location, expertise, sector knowledge and experience.
How does a company book a roadshow?
Companies can either:
- ·Invite selected consultants directly to submit a proposal for a specific roadshow, or
- ·Publish an "Open Roadshow" opportunity that pre-qualified consultants can respond to.
Consultants submit proposals through the platform, and the company then reviews submissions before selecting its preferred consultant.
Your Profile
Who can access my profile?
Your consultant profile can be viewed by registered companies using the platform to identify potential consultants. Your profile is designed to help companies assess your experience and suitability before inviting you to participate in a roadshow.
Why is it important to complete my profile?
Your profile is often the first — and sometimes only — information a company reviews before deciding whether to invite or appoint you. We encourage you to include:
- ·Professional experience
- ·Relevant industry background
- ·Sector expertise
- ·Core competencies
- ·LinkedIn profile
- ·Professional photograph
- ·Location and geographic coverage (and languages)
- ·Any additional information that differentiates your services
A complete profile significantly improves your visibility and competitiveness.
Can I update my profile at any time?
Yes. You can update your profile whenever your experience, expertise or availability changes.
Proposals
Who can see my proposals?
Only the company that issued the invitation or published the roadshow opportunity can view your proposal. Other consultants cannot access your submissions.
Can I edit a proposal after submitting it?
You may edit your proposal until the submission deadline. Once the deadline has passed, proposals are locked for evaluation.
Pricing and Fees
Who sets my rates?
You do. Consultants determine their own commercial terms and pricing when preparing each proposal.
Does the platform recommend pricing?
No. The platform does not set or negotiate consultant fees. Pricing is entirely at the discretion of each consultant.
How much does it cost to register as a consultant?
Registration on the platform is free.
How much does it cost to submit a proposal?
Submitting proposals is free.
Working with Companies
Who deals directly with the company?
Once appointed, the consultant works directly with the company regarding project delivery, scheduling and day-to-day communications, unless otherwise agreed.
What is the platform's role?
The platform facilitates introductions between companies and consultants by:
- ·Hosting consultant profiles
- ·Publishing roadshow project opportunities
- ·Managing invitations and proposals
- ·Supporting the selection process with technology (not decision making)
The platform is not a party to the consulting engagement unless specifically stated in the engagement terms.
Payments
How are consultants paid?
Payment arrangements are agreed directly between the consultant and the company unless the platform offers an optional payment service.
Do I invoice the company directly?
Unless otherwise advised, consultants invoice the company directly in accordance with the agreed commercial terms.
Does the platform deduct a commission from my fee?
The platform is paid a booking fee by companies, not consultants. All fees and commissions are clearly disclosed in the Terms of Use.
Importantly, the platform does not alter the commercial fee agreed between you and the company — the booking fee is paid by the company to the platform on top of your fee, not subtracted from it.
What currencies can I quote in?
Consultants may submit proposals in the currency specified by the company or another mutually agreed currency.
What happens if there is a payment dispute?
We encourage both parties to resolve payment issues directly. Where appropriate, the platform may assist by facilitating communication, but it is not responsible for payment obligations between the parties unless payment has been processed through the platform.
Opportunities
How will I know about new opportunities?
You will receive email notifications when:
- ·You are invited to submit a proposal.
- ·New Open Roadshow opportunities match your expertise.

No. Invitations depend on company requirements, your expertise, sector specialisation, geographic coverage and the strength of your profile.
How are consultants matched to opportunities?
Companies can either search for consultants using filters such as sector expertise, geographic coverage and consultant rating, or they can publish an Open Roadshow opportunity for consultants to respond to. Maintaining a complete and up-to-date profile increases your visibility and likelihood of being matched.
Can I decline an invitation?
Yes. There is no obligation to respond to every invitation. If an opportunity does not align with your expertise, availability or commercial objectives, you may simply decline.
Can I withdraw a submitted proposal?
Yes, provided the company has not yet awarded the engagement and the proposal deadline has not passed. Once an engagement has been confirmed, any withdrawal should be discussed directly with the company.
Will I be notified if I am unsuccessful?
Companies are encouraged to update the status of proposals. You will receive a notification when the status of your submission changes.
